Matthew Brabham finished the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda official test days, by topping the time sheets at the 0.686 mile Lucas Oil Raceway. Driving his Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing #83 Brabham also posted the second quickest time at the Mid Ohio road course earlier in the week.

Third generation racer Matthew Brabham has made a big impact in the opening four rounds of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda. His results so far have included a win, three 2nd place finishes, two pole positions, four fastest laps and new race lap records at both Sebring and St. Petersburg. Brabham currently stands second in the championship only two points behind Spencer Pigot, his experienced Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing team-mate.

Matthew Brabham continued his impressive form with a hard fought pair of second place finishes at rounds 3 and 4 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda held at the Allied Products St. Petersburg Grand Prix.

Despite not having seen the St. Petersburg street circuit before, Matthew was quickly up to speed and missed the pole in qualifying by just 0.002 seconds to his team-mate Spencer Pigot.

Matthew Brabham dominated the opening rounds of The Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda held at the Sebring International Raceway. His 1st and 2nd places ensured he left Sebring with a 8 point Championship lead.

Having qualified 2nd Matthew leaped away from the start in race 1, and despite several pace car periods was never seriously challenged as he scored comfortable win in his debut USF2000 Championship race.
